Absolutely not! This will be soon available to all in their respective Inshorts app itself.

How will we get to know that our feed has been personalised?

Once you swipe a certain number of news stories you will receive a screen showing that your feed has been personalised now. So, just sit back and enjoy your news!

What if we want to explicitly chose the type of news we want to consume?

Currently, this feature focuses mainly on reducing the efforts for the Inshorts users, hence we don't want the user to explicitly enter their preferences.

What if I don't want to personalise my feed?

No worries! We got you covered. Just don't swipe left or right on any story. Continue using Inshorts life before.

In case I swipe left on a story by mistake, but I want to get news of that category?

Hmm. Interesting. So, personalisation is not binary. In case you swipe left on one story, you will still get news from that category but after some time. But do keep in mind, if you continue swiping left on multiple stories of that category, you will stop receiving the news from that category.
